About GPA Greater Cincinnati

Greyhound Pets of America - Greater Cincinnati (GPAGC) works collaboratively with adopters, with rescue, humane and other greyhound groups and the racing industry to find homes for retired racers.
Each year, 20,000 greyhounds retire from U.S. tracks in need of homes. Our targeted adoption territory includes Northern Kentucky, Eastern Indiana, and Southwest Ohio. Our adoption application, intake and home visit process helps us identify appropriate homes for these gentle, loving dogs and to match people with compatible greyhounds. Retired racers are uniquely suited to live as companion animals. Affectionate and calm, they thrive on human attention and interaction, adjust well to home life and repay the kindness of their people

Our Mission:

We are firmly dedicated to finding the best quality and most compatible home for every individual greyhound we save.  This is accomplished through transitional foster care, application results, and adopter education with continuing support.  It is our unwavering commitment to ensure a lifelong, loving match between each of these gentle companions and its new family.
