Greyhound Pets of America - Greater Cincinnati (GPAGC) works collaboratively with adopters, other greyhound groups and the racing industry to find homes for retired racers.
Each year, greyhounds retire from U.S. tracks looking for their furever home. Our targeted adoption territory includes Northern Kentucky, Eastern Indiana, and Southwest Ohio. Our adoption application, intake and home visit process helps us identify appropriate homes for these gentle, loving dogs and to match people with compatible greyhounds. Retired racers are uniquely suited to live as companion animals. Affectionate and calm, they thrive on human attention and interaction, adjust well to home life and repay the kindness of their people with faithfulness and devotion.
